Letter to the "United Nations High Commissioner on Human Rights"

رژیم جمهوری اسلامی ایران به طور برنامه ريزی شده و گسترده حقوق اساسی مردم ایران را نقض کرده است. رفتارهای این رژیم در سرکوب مردم ایران، مصداق جنایت علیه بشریت است. این رژیم در ایران تبعیض جنسی و مذهبی و قومی برقرار کرده است؛ رژیمی است که با اندیشه، شادی و زیبایی مخالفت بنیادی دارد؛ رژیمی است که دهها روشنفکر معترض را در داخل و خارج از ایران ترور کرده است؛ رژیمی است که بسیاری از مخالفان و دگراندیشان را اعدام کرده است. این رژیمی است که به طور سازمان یافته مخالفان و منتقدان را بازداشت و در سلول های انفرادی سپاه پاسداران، وزرات اطلاعات، نیروی انتظامی، حفاظت اطلاعات قوه ی قضائیه، سازمان زندانها و بسیج شکنجه می کند. این رژیمی است که زنان را به دلیل درخواست برابری حقوقی با مردان بازداشت و مجبور به اعتراف به جرائم ناکرده می کند. این رژیمی است که نقض نهادینه و گسترده ی حقوق همه ی اقشار از جمله ی کارگران، دانشجویان، معلمان ، جوانان و هنرمندان و نویسندگان و روزنامه نگاران را به اعمال جاری دولت تبدیل کرده است. این رژیمی است که به باور میلیون ها ایرانی در انتخابات اخیر ریاست جمهوری رأی مردم را ربود، آنها را مورد ضرب و شتم قرار داد، دهها تن را به شهادت رساند، هزاران تن را بازداشت و در سلول های انفرادی تحت فشارهای جسمی و روانی قرار داده است که به مرگ برخی از زندانیان منجر شده است.
ما امضا کنندگان این نامه، کارنامه ی زمامداران سیاسی ایران را مصداق روشن جنایت علیه بشریت می‌ دانیم. ضمن رد هر طرحی برای حمله ی نظامی به ایران، یا تحریم اقتصادی ایران، به هر بهانه ای، از جهانیان و سازمان‌های بین‌المللی می خواهیم که از حقوق انسانی مردم ایران دفاع ‌کنند و سرکوب و ارعاب و تبعیض رژیم را محکوم کنند.
محمود احمدی‌نژاد، رئیس جمهور متقلب و سرکوبگر جمهوری اسلامی، بر سر آن است که در ماه سپتامبر در مجمع عمومی سازمان ملل متحد شرکت کند. ما خواهان آنیم که اجازه ندهید کسی پا در صحن سازمان منتشرکننده‌ی اعلامیه‌ی حقوق بشر بگذارد که اعمالش مظهر بارز نقض حقوق بشر است. ما خواهان آن هستیم که رژیم ایران در مجامع بین‌المللی زیر فشار قرار گیرد تا زندانیان را آزاد کند و دیگر حقوق اساسی و مدنی مردم ایران را رعایت کند. تقاضای ما از شما این است که از هر فرصتی بهره برید تا رژیم‌های سرکوبگر و ناقض حقوق انسانی را، رژیم‌هایی همچون جمهوری اسلامی ایران رامحکوم کنید.
ما از شما درخواست می کنیم تا پرونده ی نقض برنامه ریزی شده و گسترده ی حقوق اساسی مردم ایران را به شورای امنیت بسپارید تا شورا پرونده ی سران رژیم را به عنوان “جنایت علیه بشریت” تصویب کرده و به دادگاه بین المللی کیفری ارسال نماید. مطابق قانون اساسی ایران، رئیس جمهور شخص دوم کشور و مجری قانون اساسی است.احمدی نژاد در سرکوب مردم ایران نقش مستقیم داشته و دارد. به همین دلیل، ما درخواست می کنیم تا محمود احمدی نژاد، و دیگر افرادی را که در سرکوب مردم نقش مستقیم داشته و دارند، به محض خروج از ایران بازداشت و به دست عدالت بسپارید.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has systematically and consistently denied the basic rights of the Iranian people.

This regime’s behaviour in the repression of the people of Iran is the evidence of crimes against humanity. This regime has established gender, religious, and ethnic discrimination in Iran. It is a regime that stands fundamentally opposed to thinking, to happiness, and to beauty. It is a regime that has assassinated dozens of dissident intellectuals both inside and outside the country; one that has executed many opponents and opposition figures.

This is a regime that in an organized manner, arrests its opponents and critics, and tortures them in solitary cells of the Revolutionary Guard (IRGC), the Ministry of Intelligence, the Police Force, the Intelligence Protection Center of the Judiciary, the Organization of Prisons, and the Basij. This is a regime that for requesting equality of rights with men, arrests women and forces them to confess to uncommitted crimes. This is a regime that has transformed into current government actions the institutional and widespread denial of the rights of all sectors, including workers, students, teachers, youth, artists, writers, and journalists. This is a regime that to the belief of millions of Iranians has stolen the people’s vote in the recent presidential elections, has confronted them with brutality, has murdered dozens of people, and has arrested thousands and held them in solitary confinement under physical and psychological pressures which have led to the deaths of some of the prisoners.

We the undersigned, declare the records of the political rulers of Iran to be clear evidence of crimes against humanity. While refuting any schemes of a military intervention on Iran, or that of economic sanctions, for any excuse, we request the world’s citizens and international organizations to defend the human rights of the people of Iran and condemn the regime’s repression, intimidation, and discrimination.

The fraudulent and repressive president of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, intends to participate in the UN General Assembly meeting in September. We demand that you do not allow one whose actions are an obvious manifestation of human rights violations into the precincts of the organization that has issued the Declaration of Human Rights. We demand that the Islamic Republic be pressured by international communities to free political prisoners and respect other basic and civil rights of the Iranian people. Our request is for you to utilise every opportunity to condemn any repressive government like the Islamic Republic of Iran that violates basic human rights.
We request that you refer the case of the systematic and widespread violation of the basic rights of the Iranian people to the Security Council, for the Council to approve the case as one of “crimes against humanity” and forward it to the International Criminal Court (ICC). According to the Iranian Constitution, the president is the state’s second highest-ranking official and the executor of the constitution. In the repression of the people of Iran, Ahmadinejad has played and still plays a direct role. For this very reason, we request that upon exiting the country, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and others who have played and play a direct role in the people’s repression, be arrested and placed in the hands of justice.
